The save option matches your project on paper but leaves no margin — Re-Gel goes on at a set thickness and can't be stretched, so if you run short or want a second pass on stubborn spots, you'll need more. When in doubt, size up: leftover product keeps, a half-finished boat doesn't. Years, not months — but exactly how many depends on your prep, your sun and your water, so we won't put a number on it. Nobody warranties a finish against fading, not even the boat builders. Compare it to wax that needs redoing every 3–6 months, or buffing that keeps thinning your gelcoat until you hit fiberglass.
No, and we won't pretend to. Results depend on prep, weather and how it's applied — things we can't control from Tulsa. What we do promise: pre-measured kits with everything you need, step-by-step videos, and a real person on the phone before and after you buy.
Yes on fiberglass gelcoat: boats, pontoons, jet skis, RVs, campers and trailers, plus most two-part painted surfaces. No on bare aluminum, vinyl wrap, automotive clear coat or pools. Mask off stainless, chrome, aluminum trim and rubber. Stickers and decals are fine — it's clear.
No sanding. The light Scotch-Brite scuff in the kit knocks the loose oxidation down and gives Re-Gel something to bite into. Heavy oxidation sometimes wants a second coat. Deep gouges or cracks get gelcoat repair compound first, then Re-Gel over the top.
Restorer, catalyst, pre-wash soap, Wax & Grease Remover, Scotch-Brite scuff pads, applicator pads and microfiber towels. Bigger kits have more of everything — same Re-Gel. Nothing else to buy.

Yes, after the full 4-day cure. Ceramic on top of restored gelcoat is a good sacrificial layer. Ceramic on top of chalky gelcoat just seals the damage in — that's why Re-Gel comes first.
