BOAT & RV GELCOAT RESTORATION

Restore your faded gelcoat β€” not a wax, not a coating.

A 2-part system that bonds into your fiberglass and restores it, so the shine holds season after season β€” not weeks. Done in an afternoon.

The real problem

Your gelcoat isn't dirty β€” it's oxidizing.

UV breaks gelcoat down from the surface in. Every season it gets chalkier, duller, and more porous. And the fixes everyone reaches for don't actually stop it:

Wax & Polish
Fills the dullness for a few washes, then rinses right off. By mid-season you're back to chalky.
Buffing & Compounding
Grinds the gelcoat away to fake a shine. It's thin already β€” you only get so many passes before you hit fiberglass.
Paint
Thousands at a shop and weeks of downtime β€” and it still chips and peels down the road.
Ceramic Coating
A slick layer sitting on top of dead gelcoat. The oxidation never left β€” it's just hidden.
Re-Gel doesn't cover the damage. It rebuilds the surface.

A 2-part urethane that bonds into your gelcoat and restores the fiberglass itself β€” real restoration, not a cover-up. Scuff. Wipe. Cure. One afternoon, no buffer.

What it is vs. what it isn't

Re-Gel isn't a wax. It isn't a coating.

It bonds with your gelcoat at the molecular level β€” restoring the fiberglass instead of just covering it.

How it works

Scuff. Wipe. Cure.

A 2-part urethane you wipe on by hand β€” no buffer, no compounds, no painting. Four steps, one afternoon. Surfaces badly beaten up by the sun may take a second coat.

1
The honest step Wash & scuff

Wash the surface with the included soap and a Scotch-Brite pad. That one pass does two jobs: it strips the dirt and chalk, and it leaves fine micro-scratches so Re-Gel bonds into the gelcoat instead of sitting on top like wax. Let it dry fully. No heavy sanding, no buffing compounds, no painting, no peeling coatings.

01
2
Wax & grease remover

Wipe the whole surface down with the included Wax & Grease Remover so no oils or residue are left to block the bond.

02
3
Mix the two parts

Combine the catalyst with the Re-Gel bottle right before you apply. Mix only what you'll use β€” once it's catalyzed, the clock starts.

03
4
Apply slowly

Wipe, even coat, working slowly. On boats, RVs, or jet skis badly beaten up by the sun, lay down a second coat for full color and depth. It cures to a hard, UV-protected finish that holds season after season.

04

Apply with surface temp under 77Β°F. Not for painted, clear-coated, or actively cracking gelcoat β€” those need repair first. Durability varies with climate, prep, and maintenance.

Not sure which kit is right for you?

Call or message us with your boat and we'll tell you exactly what you need β€” no guessing, no overbuying.

This is a guideline, not a hard rule. Actual coverage depends on surface texture, porosity, and condition. The save option matches your project on paper but leaves no margin β€” Re-Gel goes on at a set thickness and can't be stretched, so if you run short or want a second pass on stubborn spots, you'll need more. When in doubt, size up: leftover product keeps, a half-finished boat doesn't.
